HI Guys,

Hope you all had a great Xmas and festive season, how quickly did this year fly by?

Now I have been testing the APS single turbo over the last month (resurrrected the project which was started 12 months ago) and I'm pleased to say the APS single works very well, a combination of Garret dual ball bearing turbo technology (very fast spooling) and well designed shortest posssible exhaust manifold routing to ensure the shortest and most direct path for the exhaust gas/energy to the turbocharger.

I would like to check the basic manifolding and turbo on a RHD Z car so if any Melbourne based member has Z car which they could loan to me for a day or two, well this would be very helpful. Please send me a PM if you can help out.

Would be a shame to do all of this engineering and not have the package suitable for RHD Z cars.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you guys soon, now I'm off for a blast in the hills. :shiftdrive:

Thanks

Peter

Let me ship my car over there right now!

I hope you find someone to test this out. We would all love to see and hear the results of a single turbo setup for those too mild for the tt kit.

Well you're most welcome if you have the time though how good are you at shifting cogs with the right hand.............the APS engineering Z car is a left hooker.

The way I see it, we could test fit it on my RHD model (to make sure all the clearances are right and whatnot) and then I could test drive it home.

I'll return it.....later. ;)

Its a shame this was posted now - some friends of mine had just gone down to Melbourne a week ago (coming back to Sydney today) and I was considering going with them. Had I known about this then, I would have driven my Z down to Melbourne.

Anyway, we'll see where we're at after the New Year. :D

OK good plan though all I need is a right hand drive car for a few days after the 17th of Jan, thanks anyway.
