Anyone ever had this problem? I have taken it to the dealership and had it replaced once. On my way to have it replced again today. I can't figure this one out. I dont have a fat butt, so I am not sitting on it and splitting it. It is the trim that is on the lower outside portion of the driver's seat. What is the deal?

My plastic pieces keep coming detached on the inside, next to the seat belt, but all I have to do is squeeze them back together again. I've never heard of the plasic actually cracking like that :dunno:

I think it's time to get new, aftermarket seats. I don't have that problem with my seats, so I don't know what to tell you.

I have that problem too, but I usually just pop it back in. I think it happens when I turn to get out of the car. I took it in once to be replaced and they had to order it. It came in a month later and I went in and I waited for 2 hours for them to finally tell me that they ordered the wrong part! It has been ordered again and a month later still no word.

I have the same problem, only not as bad. There is a little separation in the pieces of plastic, but nothing broken. I busted out the trusty epoxy and glued it back together. It's been fine since September.
I do, however, have a size 38 ass, so I could have caused the problem.

Used to happen to me all the time...I just kept popping it back in....For some reason, It has'nt happened most of the year....(knock on wood)....And I'm still the 230lb D*ckhead I've always been...LOL

Ive had it. I'm 6'2 215, and I'm almost positive it happens when you turn to get out of the seat.

Happened to my z also and since i have beige leather seats u can see those lines more cause they are a little darker and the dealer told me i have to buy new seats i think i am going to get some bride seats!!

LOL, I didn't say "I've had it" as in "I'm sick of this." I meant I've had it as in I've had the same issue. People are gonna think I'm a hot head!!! LOL
