Has anyone changed out the rear turn signal bulbs without removing the back bumper (that's what the service manual says to do)? I've got some clear leds (that light amber) to swap in but having to readjust the bumper on reinstall just to change two light bulbs seems like a lot of work. Can this be done from under the car?

I've never done anywork to the back of my Z, but I imagine it would be pretty hard to get all the way to the bulbs without removing the bumper</span>

I did mine, replaced with the chrome APC ones in less than 30 min and I did not get dirty.

1) Open hatch
2) Remove brake light assembly, see toykilla's article step 1 if you have any questions on that.
3) Reach down and half twist the bulb holder out of the bumper.
4) Pull out bulb and replace.
5) Test blinker, if it works, reassemble in reverse.

Has anyone changed all the bulbs in the headlights so they apear to be white/brighter than the factory highs and driving lights? I have the HID low beams from factory but would like all the other bulbs to match these when they are lit.

Thanks for the help.

Hi nee to this forum. I changed all the bulbs on my 07 not too long ago to LED's that are clear when they are off and turn amber(for turn signals) when on.

Well, thanks for sharing but sales threads belong in the vendor section. I'm gonna just take out the sales part if you don't mind. Welcome to the forum BTW. Here's the wiki for changing out the tails...Pretty easy....

I was not selling anything I was just showing were you could get the LED's
Yeah, I wasn't being mean. The addition to the thread for the company seemed like a "sales" thing as opposed to a "teaching" thing since the thread is 3 years old.

You could certainly add a thread showing how to replace LEDs and whatnot but it seemed like you were a new member selling LEDs as opposed to how to install new LEDs. "Not that there's anything wrong with that"(Seinfeld reference). It was a judgment call. You aren't paying a vendor fee when there are a lot of other sources for LEDs. Post up a "How To".

This IS a business. ;)
