I have had my z for 2 moths and about 3 weeks after getting it we had a big rain, I got in the car after work and the floor board was wet. So i took the car up to the dealer and they leak tested it and both doors were leaking.. Needless to say I was upset . They ordered some parts and keep it one day and told me it was fixed. Well today it is raining and water is coming in the drivers side soaking the floor board so my car is at the dealer and I got a but ugly rental car. Ever since they told me it was fixed last time I could hear allot of wind noise on the drivers side..
2 months old and already have this kind of trouble. I have called nissan and voiced my concern and they are calling the dealer. I talked to the owner of the dealer today and he said a niisan rep is going to look at the car and if they cant fix it I will end up with a new car.
I'm sure they will give it back to me and tell me its fixed but now i feel like its always going to leak. I don't know i guess I'm disappointed in my z and nissan...

Well that sucks, I hope they can find the problem and repair it, or you get a new Z! Don't give up on them just yet....although I've never heard of the 350Z leaking like that.....did you get it new or used???

Which dealer did you take it to? I took my car to Crown Nissan in Hoover when I had a few problems with my window and they were extra-careful with my car. I've never seen a dealer treat a car how mine was treated. If your dealer can't do it for you, maybe take it there? :dunno:

I told you, Nissan is built like a Ford. My claim with the BBB activated today, I will be meeting with Nissan next month. If I see the regional manager, my first word to her will be, "you are not fired yet? I wrote 6 letters about you"

I took it back to pollock here in Gadsden where I bought it from. I got it brand new, it's a 05 and it only had 25 miles on it when i got it.
They are trying to fix it and the owner of the dealership said if they could not fix it I would get a new car.
I just want my car to be ok. I hope I dont have the tire problem since it's a 05??

YES! Mine leaks when I take it through the car wash and I get wind noise. I was told that the doors needed adjustment, of course they said it wasn't covered under normal warranty and that it would cost about $120 per door. I thought it was just mine.

Form, Fit and alignment of panels are covered under warranty for 12 months after a new purchase from Nissan. I know this as I have had several pathfinders and maxima's prior to the Z - learned this on my 2nd Nissan when a door was not closing properly at 13 months!

I beleive it states it in the owners manual too!

take it back if is new - they should fix it under warranty -
