It is just a reinforcement lateral brace. Unfortunately, I think it is a waste of time as the zed already has very strong suspension points. I have never read or heard of anything like that ever breaking.
I noticed a difference in overall chassis feel when I installed all 3. I had to take the lateral bar off since it rubbed against my aftermarket Fuji exhaust mid-pipe and would send vibrations and rumble into the cockpit.
When I removed it I could no longer feel any improvement. So in my case it seems that the lateral bar made the real difference. The other 2 don't have a noticable effect.
