Hello everyone. I'm picking up my first z Friday and have a question regarding wheels. I've searched on many different forums but have come up dry. The car is a 07 350z coup. It has the stock 18s on it now but is missing one of the front wheels. Just has the donut on it at the moment. My question is if a set of wheels I already have will fit. I know the bolt pattern is right, but the fronts are 17 x 9 with a +24 offset. The rears are 17 x 10.5 with a +27 offset. They came off a 95 mustang gt. Also what tire size front and rear would be best with these? I know I'll probably get flamed out of existence but any help will be greatly apreciated.

Depending on which Z Coupe model you own, those Mustang wheels may not provide adequate caliper clearance. No use in recommending tire sizes until you at least fit the wheels first and make sure the tires don't hit the wheelwells.

It's the base coup. I know the tires on the rims now are going to be too big on the rear. They're 315 40s I believe. The fronts are 245 45s. Pretty sure I'll have to get tires. The stock rims are extremely curb rashed and tires are bad now, not to mention the missing wheel

You just need to buy another stock wheel. The stock sizes are 225/45/18 in front and 245/45/18 in back. You can refinish the wheels pretty cheaply. I think that alternative would be better than trying to fit 17" Mustang wheels.

Have you checked for caliper and brake clearance yet? It sounds like the OP really wants to use those 'ol Mustang wheels, but if there's not enough clearance, it's a moot question of what size tires to buy.

Also, while I like KornerCarver's idea of getting stock wheels, I'd have the curbed 350Z wheels checked for both inner and outer runoff first. It sounds like this Z has been abused.

From what I can tell it has actually been taken very good care of. Looks like the previous owner just removed nearly everything that wasn't stock before trading it in. Ran a car fax and it came back with only 2 previous owners and 0 wrecks or thefts. There's not a single dent on the body and the original paint only has a few scratches on the roof and drivers door. I'm thinking it had rims on it that were taken off and they just put what they had back on it. The lot I got it from had to put a front bumper on it because it was missing but absolutely no signs of hitting anything which leads me to believe it hada aftermarket one on it that was removed. Also has small holes drilled in the rear bumper where it looks like it had some type of flares on it. Has a aftermarket security system with remote start that I'm still trying to figure out how to operate, ha, a all aluminum mishimoto radiator, a nice sounding aftermarket single exhaust, a $700 pioneer stereo, and a set of depo headlights. Looks like the tail lights were replaced and put back in too because they look brand new. Runs like new, especially considering it has 156,000 miles.

Two questions:

-Did this Z come with any service records? With 156K it must have regular oil/filter changes at least and you'll want to check fluids as well.

-Have you checked for brake/hub clearance with those set of Mustang wheels yet?

No service records. Lot I got it from got it at auction. But I checked all the fluids and everything was full and clean, but not new like it had just been changed. The only things I've found wrong with it is the wheel and a small tear in the driver seat. Tried on one rear and front rim and they cleared pretty nice. Considering I only gave 4000 for the car I cant complain
