Could be that the seller is new to useing E-Bay.
I've never bought or sold anything thru them so I'd have the same kind of feedback & wouldn't know the 1st thing about Paypal either.

Not saying that it's not a scam - just offering another point of view.

ya when i got scammed it was through western union. he claimed it would take a long time for him to be accepted through paypal because of where he was. he was in italy but it said UK. i wouldnt be surprised if its the same guy. he may offer to end the auction early for u. thats what he did to me. that way ebay is NOT responsible

+ I don't think this guy is serious about any other Ebay transactions (at least not with that name) as his username is NissanSupercharger.

Chances are his Ebay ID is specifically made for this auction and then it will change to FordExhaust or PinknFluffy.

My brother was almost caught by a scammer in a similar situation on a 4 wheeler. guy was in Italy taking care of his sister that needed a bone marrow transplant and had two 4 wheelers that he had just bought and needed to sell them quick to pay medical bills. The guy closed the auction early and was going to get the money sent an escrow company called "safeharber" which they spoofed ebay's email, but he preffered if it was sent via western union. Fortunately, I looked into this type of transaction, which ebay does allow, but only throw "escrow.com" The guy even stated that the ATV was sitting in "Ebay's warehouse"! Can you believe that! We reported this to ebay and we got a reply within 10 minutes that this was a scam and that they have alerted the authorities. Sad thing is, he had two 4 wheelers for sale and stated that he had many inquiries on them. probably got someone to send cash.

If it even smells a LITTLE gamey, it is best to avoid the auction as it is likely to be a scam. First, why buy from someone in another country? The laws are different and Americans usually have no idea how to navigate their legal system. Anyhow, there are plenty of superchargers for sale by US residents. Second, using a check or cashier's check is just foolish. They are nearly untraceable. Always use a credit card or paypal. It is safer (but not foolproof) that way.

Personally, I would send the guy an email and notify him that you reported him to ebay. I bet he ends the auction quickly.
