How are they mounted?

I removed the plastics, then behind the opening I placed a cut 1/2" mdf (with a large hole in the center so you can reach through once its screwed in.

Screws through the factory holes hold the mdf in place, then vinyl on top of that, then the plastics.

Looks very nice. I like it. But this is like the complete opposite of stealth. Aren't you a little concerned with someone seeing your stuff and wanting to break in to the car?
