:banghead: Does anyone know where the amplifier locaton is on the roadster?
I'm also trying to find the mute input to the 2004 Bose Head Unit. Is there one?

Found the Amplifier next to the spare tire on the driver's side.
How the **** do I remove the casing without tearing the case apart?! :banghead:
There is a screw that looks like its coming from UNDER the car, nearly
impossible to get to with the exahust and bumper.
There's gotta be an easier way. Need help!!!!

There are two casings: One is just trim and you can just yank the right side those screws on the bottom just hold it with friction.. You will have to remove a couple of trim clips and and the middle trim that is at the very rear of the car. You will then need to either remove the bracket that attaches some of the rear trim or (like I did) temporarily bend it out of the way. Then you can manhandle the trim out of the trunk.

The metal casing is secured by three nuts attached to studs. You just remove the nuts. There are three of them holding the bracket on: One is in upper right of the bracket. There is another near the lower right. The third one is near the middle on the left (you can't see it, so you will have to work that one by feel. The nuts are all 10mm.

I know this is an old post and daveyello has long since figured this out or given up.
