The thread

So pretty decent weekend with a real shitty ending.

Yesterday a bunch of car kids from a site I help run (www.gaydm.com) met up to do some eating and some driving. It was a pretty decent turn out and we were having a lot of fun and decided to go do some more driving on Highway 5 in Kansas.

For those not in the know this is a curvy stretch of backroad that makes for a pretty nice, scenic drive on a nice *** day like yesterday. Friends Ty and John (younger John) were up ahead with myself going pretty quick while everyone else was hanging back due to a slow car that we had already passed but they hadn't yet. The found a straightaway and went to pass. Trevor was right behind the slow car with John (older John) in his 2005 Ford Mustang GT was behind him. They both went at about the same time, slightly bumped into each other, Johns Mustang went into the ditch, hit a drainage pipe, and flipped twice before landing upside down in the ditch. Travis (the other Johns brother) was in the passenger seat, with his seatbelt on and was fine aside from a scraped up hand and being tossed around but John didnt have his belt on because he had torn a rotater cuff in his shoulder and it was uncomfartable so he was tossed around quite a bit. He is fine, considering, but last a heard at least a fractured rib, maybe a punctured lung, and pain all around.

So it could of been worse but his beautiful new car is trashed and he is in some pain.

WEAR YOUR SEATBELT KIDDIES!

I don't think I want to see the pics...

Sounds like a case of someone playing too many race games on Xbox and thought they could drive like that in real life.

God it's hot in here...good thing we got some hateraid.

Anyway, here's some pics from another accident.
I was rear ended today in boise by a HUGE F350 pickup going about 50 mph. I was stopped at the light, only one at the stop light in my lane, and i was pushed so far into the intersection that i hit a honda in the front and my airbag deployed.

I am on a load of drugs right now, i am in pain but still alive! My right arm came down on my shifter i think and i have a giant round swollen bruise on it. my neck & lower back hurt like nothing else, and i'm sure i'll be worse tomorrow.

the jerk in the truck was driving on a suspended license. The truck was not his. However, the truck has insurance on it they think. They would have hauled him off to jail on the spot but he had to get stitches on his chin. He got a ton of citations, including a wreckless driving ticket.

My car, as you can see, is obviously totaled. We are now on a quest for an identical version somewhere in the USA so i do not have to wait for another.

This guy will be paying out his *@&(#*& for this. i am pissed, and i hurt, and my baby is gone :sadno: :sadno:

there was no one else in the car with me. I had to crawl out my passengers door because my drivers door wouldn't open.

I got a ton of x-rays and cat scans done at the ER, and they say no broken bones, but i am in a lot of pain.

anyway, here they are. Sorry guys, i had to edit this and take some of the pictures out, my data transfer limit on my site just went up about 700% of normal in one day

I recently met a relative that is a long time employee of the Ford plant in St Paul, MN. He's getting ready to retire. He's not happy with the things they are doing, like buying substandard parts from China.

I guess no matter which company it is, money is the prime objective.
