when i use the tiptronic or whatever you call it on my z, it has barely any lag and i can shift to any gear any time i want unless im at a stop light... i've heard that with professional drivers, when it comes down to times at the track, the difference is hundreths of a second.
yea well anyway, yup im a neewb but really interested in drifting. i can drive sideways in the rain all day long just not sure how to get my z sideways in the dry...lol...yea i no i suck. but if anyone would like to share sum technique it would def. be appreciated. thnxs
SAE Motorsports has an article on the Top 10 most common mistakes that drivers make.
Some of it is pretty straightforward, some of it I hadn't considered.
Either way, its a good read.
what would need to be done to an 06 touring Z to be "track ready"? I would honestly take it out to the track bone stock, but i've heard a lot of people putting in transmission coolers, power steering coolers etc. i just dont want to destroy my car at the track because of not taking precautions...
