I second dkmura's suggestion on the factory Brembos. More than adequate for street and occasional track (with proper pads).
Another option is to source the
Akebono built 370Z Sport/Nismo big brake kit. It's on sale right now and if you don't go crazy on color choices, it's a great setup.
One word of caution on the Akebono setup is to mind wheel clearances as these are pretty broad in size. If you click on the "Documents" link on that page, you can download the template to make yourself a "clearance gauge" (out of cardboard or whatever) to use to check fit in whatever wheels you are considering (or whatever wheels you have already.)
I've run both the Brembo (Z33 Niz) and the Akebono (Z34 Niz); both are great and in a side by side, wouldn't give one or the other the edge based on raw performance (But combined with the chassis advances and lighter weight of the Z34, that version felt more solid to me. Ever so slightly.
EDIT: Forgot.... The generally most often recommended shop in the LA area is
Specialty Z. Their specialty is the Z32 but do most Z cars from Z32 and up plus R35 GTR (and eventually new RZ34 I'd guess.)
