300HP on the sticker is not the same as the wheel hp (what the dyno measures normally)


262 sounds about right for a dyno read

Considering an approximate 15% drivetrain loss from crank to wheels, that's a pretty good power output, especially for a car with that many miles. You should be happy with that.

Super Black Z's are well known to be the fastest color.

I've heard of SB Z's with leaking cylinders and 2:1 compression dusting Bugatti Veyron's from 0-3mph.




At least that's the word on the street.

But that 262hp is not on wheels - it's on crank... :cry:
Transmission losess are about 45hp
You didn't state that the dyno was done at the crank.

For the most part, yes. The dyno's we're used to do that.
