Last weekend I was able to swap pumpkins with a 6MT model so that I now have the 3.53 final drive. My previous best at the track here, which is at 3,000ft above sea level, was 14.86 @ 95.3 with JWT Popcharger and Injen SES exhaust. Tonight my best time was 14.33 @ 98.7! I never thought the 3.53 final drive would make that much difference. I cant imagine what would happen with the 3.90 final drive. :rolf2:

I am not too familiar with the affects of sea level on times, however, those times seem very very low. A stock z should be in the flat 14.0'[email protected]

Your car will run slower at higher altitude. Where I live it usually ends up about a full second slower than at sea level. I ran 14.9 stock and now 14.3-14.6 with some mods. At sea level I would probably be in the 13.7-13.9 range.

You high-alt guys should consider turbo-ing. Nothin agressive with the boost, but like 2lbs should bring ya just about sea level or so. Then you can work up the boost as you desire later..
