After some serious thought - I'm putting her up for sale.

Wifey said go for a C6 - and as much as I love my Z - I'm taking her up on it.

I'm in Washington NC - a guiet small town in Eastern North Carolina. The car is a daily driver - 10 miles to work and back. I've had some mods installed - but no drag racing or track racing. All OEM parts included, including the 17" rims/tires (800 miles on them) - and even the original ring & pinion.

Miles are currently closing in on 6k. Not a ding - srcatch - even on the front bumper.

KBB says private sale at $24. I need to get $26k to get into the Vette.

Or - PM me for photos.

Never mind. I can't do it. I just can't do it.

I'm ordering a Stillen sc next week.

Forgive me for even thinking about this.

It must be the pain pills I've been taking. :shiftdrive:

Nah, man. Last night I was serious. I've been on Peroset for about a week - don't mix them with Capn' Morgan...messes with your mind. Sorry if it seemed like a prank. I was serious. (Kerbeck has them on sale for $4k off msrp...)

Hi Pete - cool. Last summer, they were asking msrp for '05's. Now - they're asking $4k under. Very tempting.

My Z, once again, is up for sale. For those of you who "know me," you'll understand.

My wife's medical condition has worsened. (First, MS - now Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, too) She's unable to keep working.

So - my hot rod has to be passed on to someone else who appreciates a good ride.

Before I try to sell it locally, I'll try this venue.

This car has been pampered. And she's sweet.

I need $25k - firm. Includes original parts - springs - induction - gears - and rims/tires.

We're going to be okay, but the Z has to go.

7k miles now. - No dings or curb rash on my favorite 19's.

Here's some additional info:

Carmax is asking $25k for an Enthusiast with 16k miles:
http://www.carmax.com/dyn/factsheet/factsheet.aspx

Mine has 7k miles.

Cost of mods:

Evo gears (installed by a certified Nissan Tech): $1k
Nismo CAI - $300
Rims/Tires - $2600
Eibachs - $400
Hawk pads - $150
Tint - $250

Total - $4700.

And - you know who you're buying from.

Thanks for your consideration.

Bryan

Thanks, Pete.

Christine will probably not return to work.

We'll need to downsize to one car - her wagon.

Otherwise, we'll be okay. I can teach another class or two p/t at ECU.

Life is change, man. Gotta "roll with it, baby."

I've had 38 cars/pickups over the years. I'll have another.

This one will be a tough one to let go. But I'll feel better if it goes to someone who appreciates my taste in mods.

Pete - know that if your other "deal" works out next week, it will help her - and me. **** - I need something to smile about.

btw - no prank. I spent $700 to have a large river birch tree taken down to make way for my first garage - a 2-car attached ($42k). That's not going to happen now. Sorry for previous "pranks." I like to get people to smile more.

I understand. No problems.

I just saw an '05 base coupe on Carmax for $25k. So I think this one is priced attractively. We don't get any snow here - so no salt on the chassis. And the roads are relatively pothole-free (compared to up in the Northeast). It's been driven very modestly. I launched it from a stop once - got wheel hop - and realized the independent suspension isn't as happy with that as my '03 Mach 1's live axle was.

Hi y'all. How about some feedback?

I think this car is priced to sell.

There isn't a nick or chip on it anywhere.

It's been driven by an old guy!

This is the one I'd sell to my brother-in-law (if he had a job!) and not worry.
