Pop the rear hatch, you will see three pop-off covers along the tail-light lines. Remove them, remove the bolts, the entire unit slips out. 5 minute job. Welcome to Tech :cheers:
I would add to use caution when taking the light in and out…it has plastic pegs that'll break off pretty easy…if they do break off it's not the end of the world...
Only had mine off twice in 10 years. Those bulbs seem to last about forever. Never really noticed the tabs. But I'm pretty careful in removing stuff - small break can = big bucks, lol. And aggravation......
