I see a lot of people with 19's and I see a lot of people with 18's.
I've got stock 18's now.
How much will I notice a difference in handling and comfort of ride if I go with 19's?
There's a lot of construction here, so roads are crappy. Will 19's on crappy roads increase the potential for damage?

As wheel size increases, sidewall size decreases...less air in the tire to absorb shocks...

At some point (probably 20's...) alignment/camber comes into play.

What I've seen & read 19's are a pretty safe bet. I'll probably go with 18's when I upgrade, just to be 'safe'. (& $ave $ome $$...)

18's are the way to go for performance and comfort. With 19's, you'll feel the difference both positive and negative. People who go 19 for the most part have the same width as those who have aftermarket 18's. So really you're not getting anything out of 19's, IMO. You're just spending more money on wheels & tires, and sacrificing the things that matter most.

Did your ride get stiffer after stepping up to 19s??

I love those J8's. Definately at the top of my list.
Also looking at Milanos and Nismos for by DB.
