what do you all think about !8's in front and 19's in the rear? Any pro's or con's to this set up?

Nope both Track and GT for 06 have the 18 front 19 rear. Sweet looking stock wheels course I have an 06 GT :cheers:

Since what you describe is done from the factory then i can see no reason why you can not do it yourself without messing with VDC.

The trick is keeping the outer diameter within spec of stock (or atleast the ratio front to rear the same).

On my 06 GT stock tires are as follows:
Fronts are 245/40R18
Rears are 265/35R19
