I recieved a notice in the mail suggesting the 15,000 mile service. I just called up Nissan to see what it entails, and it seems like its mostly servicings of things that really don't apply to the Z.. such as tire rotations, etc.

Has anyone here done this? Should I do it or not? Its gonna cost $399, and it seems hardly worth it for an oil change and "fluid adjustments" :lmfao:

Mine goes in on Tuesday....but if it is $399 I will put the brakes on that and just have them do

- New Tires - yes 2nd set has feathered at 17K miles!
- Vent rattle near left A Pillar - this has to be the 6th time for this one
- with new tires - Alignement (covered under the TSB)
- oil.....

Do not spend $399 on this!!!! Stuff like wheel rotation and in cabin filter replacement (i think that alone is over $100) arent needed or cant be done on our cars.

cool, thanks Dave.. thats what I figured. I'll be making the switch to synthetic oil soon, might as well do that instead of the service. Also, I'm gonna do the tranny and diff. fluids too, thinkin Motul or Redline.

I'll let ya know how it turns out Study. Do I have to order these from the net or are they sold in regular stores?
