Same here, I don't like the lights (head and tail) and front bumper. I like the interiors though. I would like to see in person before deciding if I really like it.

Headlights, tail-lights, front bumper, fangs, blunt appearing in profile, interior is now cramped, even less storage, subwoofer now in the floor over spare tire (what do you do with your suitcase if you want to listen to music on long trips?), bare metal stabilizer bar behind the seats apparently replaces the "wall" the 350Z has.

The car is becoming cheap, looks like a 350Z put in a vise, and evolving into a glorified go-kart.

What I see here is a concentrated effort on Nissan's part to create an "evolved" version of the Z that more directly competes with the Cayman. Unfortunately this effort was handicapped from the start by Nissan's limiting budget factors and need to use "parts bin" components. Throw in the effort to recall past Z cars in the styling while still trying to go upscale, and it seems to me like the end result is a car that doesn't quite fit into any one category. No doubt where the engine is concerned this will be a faster car. What I am afraid of is that in their quest to compete with Porsche, Nissan has toned down how the car drives. Yes, improved interior is great (I have complained about our current interiors before), but is it worth it at the cost of a more boring car? Hopefully I am wrong here. The last real review I read about the current gen Z was that it was, "rough around the edges- rough is good"(CAR UK). Hopefully Nissan's latest effort won't come out feeling half baked.
