After saying what I did earlier, I would like to add one thing- Can anybody say "engine swap"?

subwoofer now in the floor over spare tire (what do you do with your suitcase if you want to listen to music on long trips?)
I have a subwoofer in the spare tire well of my Z and I have put so much luggage on top of the protective grill over it that I probably exceeded the maximum cargo capacity (my girlfriend isn't a light packer!) and it hasn't damaged it. I'm sure they have made considerations for that.

Overall, I like it. If ever I had to replace my current Z and had about 30K to spend, I'd get it.

I can remember when the 350 was about to come out and I didn't really like it in the pictures (I am in love with it now obviously). I doubt two things: 1) The current pictures do the 370z justice and 2) Nissan will screw up the new Z. Nissan can't afford to get this one wrong just like they couldn't afford to mess up the GTR. There is a big following anticipating this car and I'm sure Nissan feels the that pressure to get it right.

Don't really like it as is. I'll reserve judgment until I see it with Nismo lip kit and a small lip spoiler. I think it'll look nice then.

rear lights, rear hatch, steering wheel, headlights are all what make me cringe.

someone above mentioned the 370 is meant to be a direct competitor to the cayman. Well when the time comes to upgrade, i'd be picking the cayman.

Until now, every new Z car generation was a brand new design (240Z, 300Z, 350Z). This is the first time they tried to evolve a prior generation. The result, like so many posts I've read indicate, is a mixed bag. Some things look good, some completely out of place, some so-so, etc). I hope the next generation (if there is one) will be a complete redesign. The 350Z looks good because it is a 350Z. The 370Z looks like a car suffering from multiple identity disorder. It doesn't stand on its own.
