The Bike Thread

No idea where this will go, but there are a lot of cyclists here, so let's discuss.

I'll be reading as much as possible. I know jack squat about the topic, and I am in need of a new hybrid bike. My current one is about 10 years old and has ancient tech. I could use one with a forgiving front fork.

3.5, I could be wrong, but I think this thread is about bicycles.

Willy, you still selling your Madone? Going to replace it or give up riding?

...passively selling it, as in if someone randomly offers to buy it.

And no, I'm just more of a time trialist, I'm definitely not selling the fast bike. I just don't have time for long road rides and such anymore, and I doubt that will change in medical school. So, the Madone will go if someone puts up the cash.

Willy.. I work where Anton Quist goes to Medical School.. he still rides at least 20 miles/day

That was a great 5 years with the Z. Moved on to better mpg and regular unleaded.
