Anyone interested in AVN6000 group buy?

They have it in Melbourne for $2850AUD + installation $200, whereas USA drops them at $750USD.

Would be nice to get it around $1200 AUD.

Thoughts?

my suggestion is, do more researches yourself to make sure the AVN6000 sold in the USA can be used in Australia... such as Sat. Nav., Radio frequency (both AM and FM) and other functions... else when you get the unit later, you are gonna start saying that people sold you a fake one.... Many sat. nav system sold in the USA cannot be used in australia due to mapping issues.... and australian map is a bitch to buy btw... they are very expensive too... reason why I know that because I am in this industy

cheers,

richie
ps. OT for you... the HKS exhaust that you bought off a forum member, it is a REAL USA HKS exhaust... that exhaust was purchased by Paul (my client, an American who works in Tasmania) for his 2006 350Z Roadster from the USA, then later on he didn't need that anymore since he sold the car... BTW, that shop - the mufflerman that you got your exhaust installed knows nothing about the 350z... when I got my exhaust installed, they even reckon the Crawford cats were fake on my ex-350z and not high flow enough than their smaller cats... and they even reckoned my nismo/nissan Ti exhaust (the one with a "Z" logo) wasn't real Ti exhaust.... so don't take what they say seriously mate, they know nothing about 350z!!!

I rang Fujitsu about this model and surprisingly they told me that they don't have online selling policy which they are taking out soon. I'll have update on that as well..Richie is right .The reasons why they are expensive is because of maps and other functions that are not compatible here in Aus.

Any news with the AVN6000?

There is a Kenwood 7039 Double Din touch screen + Australian GPS map for about $2000 now at Strathmore.

There's also Pioneer AVIC-HD3 but it probably is $2500

Anything around $1500 mark?

Hi Hoodwinks,

They still don't have online selling policy for AVN6000. I am keeping an eye but anything above 1000 mark is not worth group buy as it's hard to get numbers.

Cheers,

Manu
