Correct

The OEM-Nissan-Dealer transmission fluid is GL-4.

In addition, I received a call from a Castrol technical representative today.

The Castrol Rep stated that they do make a GL-4 synthetic transmisssion fluid.

The Castrol Sythetic manual transmission fluid is:

API GL-4 Syntorq LT SAE 75W 85

Since I am having my transmission replaced now for the 2nd time, I think I will try this Redline GL-4 and see if it helps.

What about the rear end, is Mobil-1 75-90 (GL-5) ok in the rear diff.? That is what I have in the rear diff. right now...

See Section 9 of your Owner's Manual.

... FYI my apartment burned down and I lost everything I owned about 4 months ago. Yes the owner's manual was in my room. I dunno why people can't just post the answer, instead of "check your owner's manual" like you are God or something. If you don't know, then say you don't know. Nobody will laugh at you, I don't know?

Sorry to hear about your apartment. However, there seem to be far too many posts from people who can't take the time to read their manual, but have plenty of time to chat on-line, present company excepted.
