I don't know. The 'pinch' in the GT-R fender does look like the 350Z's fender, but the GT-R's 'pinch' actually sticks out from the original body lines and has a small outlet for hot air in the back. I'm not sure that the Z's fender really serves any purpose like that.

It sure looks like on the Z though. The Super GT 350z has it like the Z tune, its really aggresive.

i must be missing something because i see no such pinched vent like things on the stock Z.

Its probably more the squared off shoulder at the base of the A pillar that they're referring to.

On the roadgoing Z, it meets the bottom of the A pillar. On the Z Tune and the Super GT cars, its a vent.
