I have a 2003 350z with 37000 miles on it. I brought my car out of storage last month and everything was going fine for the first few weeks. I could tell that my rotors were beginning to warp. But before I got a chance to replace them I experienced something that I can not figure out. I started driving and after about 3 blocks the car begins to lurch almost like I had a flat tire. I can tell that it was coming from the rear of the car. Since it was at night I was not able to inspect it until the next day. I took it out the next morning and after a few blocks I had the same problem. When I got out I could see a lot of brake dust on the driver side wheel. Does anybody have any ideas what this could be? Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like either the e-brake or one of the rear brake calipers have seized. Does it feel like you are driving with the brakes on? Most likely, the only way to tell for sure is to pull off the rear wheel and the rotor and see what's going on.

+1 sounds like a seized e-brake. especially if you had it engaged during the storage time this can happen.
