Out of the interest of the Z owners here, I am copying some info that is probably good to know. Fitment came out great. Original INGS kit goes for 2-3k$

To prove the theory of "you get what you pay for" is not always right. We bought a replica Ing+1 from Ebay for $197 and install on a Red ZR. Fitment is 97% fit. The 3% different is from the rear bumper (minor adjustment for the trunk release hatch.

We bought it here:

Paid the seller $100 for local pickup. This $100 is the offset for the kit since he try to avoid the ebay fee. We have no problem with this. Total for this kit is $297

Wowsah! Love that front end!

Something tells me the body shop probably did a lot of prep work to make it fit and look perfect. It may have cost $200 on ebay, but I'm sure the paint and install was three times that.

From Bubble: the fitment was great... extra prep work was not needed

INGS must be nuts.. All that money they are spending and charging for a kit and they could be just buying them from ebay!!

j/k.. I hope this saves someone money.. But.. what does this exactly do to companies like INGS that make the real deal?

How is a replica not a blatant slap in the face? Imitation is a form of flattery, sure. But how is this different than stealing and copying someone elses design? Or stealing pics of a car that isn't yours to sell a product?

Bottom line for me is this: INGS came up with that design. It doesn't take more than 4 monkeys to copy it overnight and sell it for a 1/10 of the price. But those monkeys didn't create that kit. The stole it.
