Nice List - thanks Dave.

I found this link from Sylvania a few months back (not as detailed)- http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/A...ide/default.htm

NoLimit55 10-27-2005 03:17 PM

what would I have to do in order to convert to xenon headlights? do i just have to replace bulbs or is it more detailed than that?

jinxxycat 11-08-2005 08:32 AM

Here is a link to a thread with some useful information on swapping to xenon......click here

jetpilot718 11-08-2005 09:15 AM

Cool, I'll be using that if I ever get the free time to do my euro rear-fog conversion.

deviljon 12-30-2005 06:16 AM

would you guys happen to know if these numbers are the same on the 06 model?

sorphin 02-08-2006 10:17 AM

well, they are, except now you have LED parking lights and LED tails, so al lthat's left are the reverse lights, and the blinkers, plate light, and the normal interior lights

toykilla 02-08-2006 10:22 AM

The 2006 front lights I am sure have different bulbs.

will pwr 02-08-2006 10:47 AM

Right off the back, the Low/High (xenon) on the 06 is different. They are D2S versus the D2R of the 03-05 xenon models....due to the bi-xenon factor

So, since I have a base model, I need to get a HID Conversion with H7 bulbs?

NoLimit55 01-28-2008 05:04 AM

can i use an H7 55w bulb for my low beam bulb replacement? do most people convert both their low beams and high beams to HID or just one or the other? thanks!

jbnissan2367 01-28-2008 06:40 PM

most people don't convert to true HIDs because doing it properly is quite an expense. Just getting higher temp or "more purple" bulbs is not an HID replacement. That involves installing ballasts and such.

Yes, i realize that. I just want to make sure that the H7 Kit I ordered will fit in the low beam bulb spot. I think it will

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REPLACE 04 Z HEADLIGHTS? NEVER DID IT!

future350zdriver 06-05-2008 05:25 AM

does anyone know if i can use a D2S instead of a D2R on my 04 enthusiast. I remember for my IS300 which was d2r also, the shop just cut a small piece from teh bulb and it fit perfectly. i dont know if thats the same for the Z

i8acobra 06-05-2008 05:55 AM

Since the '06+ cars have some differences, here's a lamp replacement guide for pretty much every car made:
