Thumbs down Hit a curb..

I was very reluctant to post this but i'm a little concerned. Today after work it was raining decided to be stupid and I was drifting a little. Drifted a couple times... Thought I was cool.. Blah blah.. Came up on a corner... Gave it to much gas... the drift was beautiful but coming out of the drift my backend swung out. I didn't spin... I kind of saved it but it wasn't enough.. Hit the curb at a 30 degree angle.. The car jumped a bit.. Not sure of the speed. Everything was a blur.

Drove slowly off like a idiot pulled into a parking lot to check everything.. I was so glad I didn't see a wheel in a awkward position. 2 left Rims a scratched REALLY bad. Back tire has a slight rip in the tire on the tire outerwell.. It's not deep enough to cause a blow out ( hopefully ). But yea...

On my way home I didn't notice any alignment issues. I let go of the steering wheel and the car drives straight.. Should I be concerned with any cracks? Rods? Axel? Bolts? I really don't have the money to get anything checked at the moment.

Lesson Learned... DONT DRIFT IN THE RAIN.

So,you are the guy that spent 18k for a 08 Z at CarMax and you are drifting your car.
Don't have the funds to get it checked out but it seems to drive ok,I'd spring for
some new tires to start with.Especially if the sidewalls are damaged. The wheels
look like crap because of you hitting a curb?Options to fix are to get the wheels fixed/
refurbed(not cheap, what will you drive until you get the wheels back?) or buy some
OEM wheels.Check sources like ebay.Should get some at a decent price from guys that
put aftermarket wheels on.Be sure to buy REAR wheels due the staggered set up.
This may be difficult to find 2 rear.
You are right, lesson learned...don't buy a new car and commence to mess it up in
short order.

I didn't shell out the 18k lol.. I'm making payments. I just bought new rims and i'm getting new tires before I put them on. I suppose I can check when I go to put them on.
