Man, glad to hear your ok. Sorry about the Z; I remember when I first came on this board I identified with your car first because we both had PPW.

Hope the recovery goes smoothly.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a long time to spend at the hospital. I hope it's not as bad as I think. I think I'm going to be sick for you.... goddammit!

Looks like I'm gonna be the first bastard to ask this but... Are you willing to sell that shift knob? My gate pattern's peelin' off.

J/K!! Seriously, wrecked Z's are always a sad sight. However, coffins are even more depressing-- glad you got out of that one! Can't wait for your hopefully speedy recovery as we're all interested in how this happened (how we can avoid it, etc.) Now that it's 2007 and all, the "Will you get another Z?" question isn't as easy as before! Now it's which Z would you get, the HR with the funny hood or an '06 with a much happier looking bumper!

I'm very distressed seeing this thread and those pics.

So glad you survived!! Man, those pics are hard to look at. So very happy no one else was harmed.

Daum...sorry Pete. What's wrong with driver's?

synopsis of the accident on my thread later but basically a guy with a dually pickup and trailer fully loaded could not stop in time for the red light (no delay at this intersection). he came thru at about 50Mph, I Never saw him coming ...like the VW commercial. the rest is abit of a blur on how my car traveled 136 ft from impact

the onsite fire and police are all friends and they tended to me extremely well, took me to hospital on backbaord fully immobilized, during checkin, I had to Pee, ofcourse it was bright red so they transfered me to the trauma center where I received additional treatment.

I thank the lord that after looking at my car (passenger door is about 3" from center console) the only true injurues are bruises and my right hand.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts and comments .... time for therapy, check back in an hour or so!

Most people will listen to your unreasonable demands, if you'll consider their unacceptable offer.
