Sorry to hear that.

as far as whether it's fixable, if it were me, I almost rather it be totaled so I could get a new one. Things never seem to fit quite right after repairs from an accident.

Sorry about that Dave. No river today, so I'll be available anytime.

Lo Fi Ched, unfortunately I will not be able to purchase anything for about a year if it is totalled. (Divorce destroys ones abillity to have good credit for a while.) If Allstate does fix I will have the right to refuse unsatifactory repairs. I have several friends in the auto body repair business, I managed shops for 15 years and do have expansive knowledge about repairs. I will start my search on Tues for body men I know to be excellent and not cut corners. It won't go to a chop shop and I will visit it daily for quality control. Thanks for your concern.

Will you go for a completely new paint scheme? Perhaps an aftermarket front bumper would be cheaper than OEM...and so would side skirts and rear bumper.

A lot of people say that, but Richard (who has more experience with having his Z repaired than anyone) seems to be quite pleased with the work done on his Z, and I believe his S4 too.

I think a lot of that is psychosomatic

Yes, a simple and not too much front bumper. The rear bumper is fine. Again simple side skirts, I don't want to appear to flashy just a little classier. As for paint, hmmm, the guy fixing it is a master with the airbrush and we have not discussed any ideas yet. Anyway, no neck pains or back pains, I am really shocked, I actually feel a bit better than I did last week.

I was thinking that the collision probably knocked your spine back into place, or at least realigned it.

As for the bodykit, subtle is right up your alley. I wouldn't go too extreme, but some aftermarket stuff would really be cool. Also, I like the idea of airbrushing something that fits you.
