I just bought a automatic 350z from Japan.

Hi I just bought a 350z from Japan.
It's automatic transmission and just wanna know if it's slowish from the manual and is there food upgrades but not to expensive.. since I'm in Africa parts can be over priced.

Welcome- hard to know what you're asking about "food upgrades", but yes, the automatic is slower compared with the manual six-speed in the Z33. It also tends to overheat quickly, and slows down further as it gets hotter. There are no upgrades or mods available for the OEM automatic transmission outside of a generic tranny cooler. Hope this helps and is clear.

There's no aftermarket parts I'm aware of to make the auto tranny shift any faster. Even if there were, it wouldn't help the overall speed of your car. As for that photo, that is the strangest looking 350Z exhaust system I've ever seen- no idea what brand name it is. Nothing that was imported into the USDM market.

Understood- but beyond convenience, such a purchase comes with JDM parts (like the exhaust) that other parts of the world aren't familiar with. The automatic tranny question is pretty straightforward though. No help for increasing performance, however.
