Does anyone have a photo of a JGTC GT300 350z race car with its bonnet open so you can see the engine?

I believe its a bit more modified than the production S1 motor that you can buy as it has different carbon fiber intake manifold, it appears to have the Nizmo heads, no VTC and could have alot more done to the inside etc.

Thanks mate

I still have the clopy of Speed mag, which has the GT500 engine bay.

I've never seen a GT300 before, though

"I swear, officer, its all factory options!"

Understeer is when you hit the tree with the front wheel.
Oversteer is when you hit it with the back.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the tree...
Torque is how far you drag it...

Ok.... I finally got home...

The GT300 engine runs a complete different VQ35DE engine though... it has a slightly larger capacity and it runs no VTC as what Murray mentioned...

Here is the pic of the engine bay from GT300

Also as I found out that with 24hrs racing, they are running the same engine as mine which is the S1 motor from nismo, but most likely they have also upgraded the crankshaft too... but no head works are allowed for that 24hrs race (normally we see a C-west long nose body kitted z which is in 24hrs race)...

cheers,

richie

Here are more information..... in this link, it shows the prototype GT300 car that we saw before the offical GT300 was released.... but it gave some specs there...

http://www.nismo.co.jp/M_SPORTS/2002/z33/index.html

Also there are a few pictures of nismo crate engine and I think they use that for the GT300 racing cars....

And also found a HKS VQ35DE N/A engine with individual throttle bodies... not too sure if they have that for sale though... but it is the same engine as what we have got with VTCs... (shown as the last pic of this post)

Hope all of these will help, Murray!

cheers,

richie
