Everyone's having a sale now. It never hurts to ask the sales person if you can get some kind of discount, especially if you're spending a lot of money. It's all about schmoozing and talking the person into giving you more of a break than you're already getting.

Very good information.

From personal experience, let me say that if you want to do something right... do it right the first time.

I always say:
"If you don't have the time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over again?"

This applies to money as well... don't buy a cheap mod because you need SOMETHING... save and be patient. It will be MUCH more worth it when you get that perfect mod that you've been saving for.

If you don't have the time to do it right,
when will you have time to do it over again?

nice write up! i make a list of parts i want..and set aside money for them until i can get them...also sell oem parts as i upgrade to help off set costs along with watching wanted posts for oem parts and hitting junkyards to find them and resell them for a profit to help raise funds. ....learning how to drive can help save alot of money(drive smarter not harder will save you quite a bit of coin at the pump!)...as well as save you from breaking as many parts! impact sockets and ratcheting wrenches can be had for cheap at harbor freight...they are good quality and take some serious abuse! dont buy there cheap a$$ compressors.

I rely on forums like this to find the info a shop doesn't want you to have. Many fixes are simple with the right information and can save you mega bucks.
