Ok so I know i'm new any this might be pretty common knowledge. But I dont know where else to ask this, so heres my question: When I am shifting at higher rpm's (4500+) for faster acceleration, sometimes I smell the clutch burning. I started driving stick over the summer and I realize I am still very new to it, but I have no trouble for every day driving such as stopping starting smoothly and hills, ect. Is there any difference in how you shift when at higher rpms, such as let out the clutch slower, faster, more gas as you let out the clutch, less gas, no gas? Some details of my car if they might help..
