I found wearing my work (black dress) shoes the rear heal would wear it rubbed on the ground. So for most of the time I drive in my socks or barefoot.

Except for an old pair of Diesel shoes seem to work quite well (they're thin soled!!!)

Yeah. I have a pair of work shoes (with Leather Soles) and never wear these driving. I have a nice pair of Colorado shoes that last forever and are easy to heel-toe in.

Thanks,

Diz

I race go-carts so I have a pair of Puma High top racing shoes. they we're $120 I think. Really nice for racing a cart but I think to extreme for every-day driving. I do not currently have a car but I believe, they would be great for track days thin soled, radius ed heel. The only thing is you can't just walk around downtown with racing shoes. So I also have another pair of pumas I think they are Speed Cats $65 on sale half price, blue swede but below the ankle, really nice to wear all the time, and apparently they are getting to be more and more stylish in North America.

I have bought them in London cause i found them funny. It is a Puma Pair of shoes that afterwards, driving in my Z with them i found them fabulous for driving.

These are the Puma "Speed Racer"...and is not that you will be like Speed Racer and start to jump over the hills with your Z... but this shoes feels really confortable for driving, have the perfect shape for pedals, rounded pressing and depressing accelerator end and makes you feel the vibration of the engine throw the pedal directly to your bones making a communion between you and your Z...

Finally bought the Pilottis (sp?) today. Cost was $30 and they definitely need to be broken in. They're not wide, and I need wide....ouch.
