That's exactly what i was thinking. I was floored when the check showed up.

They bought me a new wheel, so i'm not pushing the issue. It might be fun to do it myself, at least the prep work, (Stripping the clear, wet sanding it and repolishing, breaking down the 2 piece and having it media blasted, getting new bolts stamped) or bring it somewhere else (Like Kwiksilver) so i have it as a spare. The roads of the Northeast are usually not kind after the winters.
