I have 2005 350z roadster with the 6 disc bose system. I've been hearing a lot of people saying that if you change you head unit, you need new speakers, and some say you don't but it wont work with the factory subwoofer. Can't you just use the PAC OEM2 audio interface and that will let u change your head unit and keep your original speakers and sub?

You are correct. The PAC converter will bring the aftermarket headunit output down to the appropriate level for the OEM amp.
