Do the electronic motors in the heads completely control the valves or is it just to control the variable lift and ect...? I guess what I asking is, does the 370z still use tradittional chain driven camshafts?

Yes, it uses 4 camshafts. The variable cam gears just adjust the duration and overlap.

I don't think there are too many companies that have managed to productionize a piston engine without a camshaft yet.

There are pneumatic valves being experimented with, but they're not ready for prime time yet.

"I swear, officer, its all factory options!"

Understeer is when you hit the tree with the front wheel.
Oversteer is when you hit it with the back.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the tree...
Torque is how far you drag it...

Yup.

Honda put only just pit them on their MotoGP Bike last year.

Thanks,
