I think as soon as members become comfortable with the format and learn how to edit, we'll see more contributions. I'm wondering if people are afraid to make changes.

When I click edit, I get a user protected page error. I think you can edit it because of your sysop/admin sign on. Weird.

Templates
Weren't we going with the current Page_Templates/Members design?
Absolutely
I like the original template layout a lot. It's clean and uniform, similar to the rest of the pages here. However, if members want to do something different on their own to customize their user page, they still have the option to.
I've been fooling around with some other things on my page (some have worked, some haven't) but I was still planning on using the base member template but just adding a few details.
Honestly, I'd like to encourage people to copy what they like from the Member Pages as long they contribute to the site somehow.

lots of work to do on my Z yet :) I'll be uploading pictures though. how do you feel about advertising the site by using printed web address cards to place on other Z's that we all see out and about? It's something that www.350zuk.com use and it seems to work well for getting new members.

Editing/Adding Parts Categories?
Just wondering how we are supposed to add/edit the categories/subcategories on the aftermarket parts page. They seem to be protected?! -Zrolimit
Stock weights vs. Aftermarket Weights
Is there any way we can setup a page that will show all the weights for the stock parts for the 350z? I'm working on something to show the weight differences between stock and the aftermarket parts available. I have a lot of data on this I just need somewhere to start. Thanks! -Zrolimit
Sponsor links in green?
What's up with the sponsor links in green? I was noticing that the links lead to pages that do not deal with our sponsors and that they seem to be set up with keywords (i.e., Racing, Radiators, etc). Any info on this? Thanks! -Zrolimit
This is what I was referring to. From what I've been reading apparently 350z-tech has a partnership with Vibrant Media. They have a program that is able to pick out keywords within the text and link it to their websites which they believe contain content that would be useable to us. Problem is that I have yet to see it and it is always sending me to a site that has nothing to do with the Z or with cars in general. They were just really annoying and I was wondering if you knew anything about it. Example below. Thanks! -Zrolimit

Well if I were to do the project car B I would most likely be putting parts on almost every month; you know small stuff here and there. I'm working at the LV Speedway to earn some extra cash but there may be gaps where I'll have to wait and save up to buy parts. Unless I find some sponsorship it's going to be a long, hard road of saving and working my butt off! --Zrolimit
Tutorial on Spring Installation
Hey I just finished up installing my Tanabe GF210s tonight and we got alot of great pics and found some easier methods to removing them without even using a spring compressor. The question is: should I amend the already existing tutorial or go ahead and create my own? --Zrolimit

I am trying to get Portals working on our Intranet at work. I can copy your code word for word, i have the server admin willing to make what changes are neccesary, but still no success. The boxes simply just dont show up, and the edit tag looks like this: [{{fullurl:{{{editpage|/}}}|action=edit}} edit]. Can i pick your brain as to what is missing?

What is that spoiler you have on the car? I love the elongation that one gives the car and would like to get one myself. I've seen pics of that spoiler elsewhere, but can't pinpoint the exact make and model.
