Welcome to my home page. It is a mess right now, but I have other priorities keeping me busy. I am trying to outline all of the mods I have done to my 2004 Pikes Peak Z, but things keep getting in the way. Check back often for updates.
This is my 2004 Pikes Peak White Nissan 350z. It is actually my second 350z, the first being a Brickyard which I totalled. I have big plans for this car, but havent had much time to make any progress on my plans. Check back on this page for updates.
If you need help building your own wiki page, don't hesitate to contact me or someone else who has a nicely laid out Z age. We are here to help.

Product Reviews and Installations

Maxground WiresThere are plenty of grounding kits on the market today, but none stand up to the engine bay heat like these. Mylar wrapping prevents color fade over time. This is the best grounding kit I have found to date. Sponsor: http://www.maxground.com

Borla Dual ExhaustThis is the first true installment for the project car. The above reviews came before, but were done before the official launch of Project 350z-tech. Click the link below to learn more about the Borla Dual Exhaust System, my personal thoughts on the product, and how to install it. Sponsor: http://www.wrightwayperformance.com

Kinetix SSV ManifoldIn this installment of Project Z, we walk you through the removal of the stock upper and lower plenums, and the installation of an aftermarket intake manifold. This particular manifold is best suited for forced induction cars and that will be coming shortly. Sponsor: http://www.calienteautomotive.com

Cusco Front A-ArmsI originally purchased these A-arms to correct the camber after lowering my car. However upon arrival, I found that these arms are designed to increase negative camber for track racing. This was not desirable for saving precious tire wear. I was able to modify these arms to achieve +1 degree of camber adjustment (from the standard +.5 degree) by cutting the edge trim ring open to allow the slider to move an additional 4mm. These arms are significantly less money than the other arms on the market. Camber is the amount the wheels tilt when looking at the car from the front or rear. Negative (-) camber is when the wheels lean in at the top. Adding (-) camber to the 350Z will make the suspension more aggressive and improve handling, however it will also speed the wear of tires. Positive (+) camber is when the top of the tires are leaning out away from the car. This is undesireable especially on a sports car. When lowering with springs or coilovers, more negative camber is induced Front camber is not adjustable on the Nissan 350z from the factory. Several aftermarket companies have developed replacement adjustable front control arms. Most if not al of these arms if any are focused on increasing performance and only permit the addition of (-) camber with slight (+) adjustment. |

BFG KDW NTThese tires are amazing. I have used Goodyear, Falken, and Toyo 19" performance tires, and these are my favorites so far. The grip is superb. Along with my Hotchkis Tuning sway bars, I can take 20mph highway looping offramps at around 50mph with NO tire squeel. These are officially my standard tire from now on. The appropriate size for my wheel setup is:

HKS Hi-Power Dual ExhaustI chose this exhaust after countless hours of research into what would best suit my needs. I first purchased the Borla true dual system, but it was not quite up to my expectations and I sold it withing a few weeks of purchase. It was not as simple as picking the exhaust that sounded best. I had to decide my forced induction plans at the same time to ensure compatibility. I did however listen to as many sound clips of 350Z exhaust systems as I could find. No question about it, the HKS Hi Power Dual Exhaust system sounded the best to me. It had a sound that really set it apart from the rest. I decided to go with an HKS theme and either wait for their twin turbo system to arrive, or install their Rotrex supercharger system. Both will be compatible with this exhaust and meet my power needs. Sponsor: http://www.intensepower.com
