The supercharger comes in three Stages and as either polished or un-polished versions for each stage so there are multiple prices. The Stillen website only shows Polished for the Stage 2 - but - the only difference (meaning major diff not plumbing and such) between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 is the Intercooler. The only difference between Stage 2 and Stage 3 is the addition of a Higher Boost Pulley (MSRP: $99.00 - Stillen $89.00)
Twin Screw Design
This is the same unit employed by O.E. manufacturers such as
Jaguar, Mercedes, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Nissan and others.
We chose it for the same reasons they did - excellent peak power
coupled with superior low end and midrange. Check the comparison
dyno chart - as you leave idle the Stillen blower is making gobs of
power and torque before the centrifugals and turbos spool up. On
the street or track, this is a faster and more user friendly
system. Maintenance is minimal.

As you all know the life of the 4-rib belt of the stillen blower sucks. it can last anywhere from 2K miles to 8K miles depending on your driving and on heat and belt condition. this problem is evident in stage 4 because more load is put on the 4-rib belt. Stillen came up with a 6-rib pulley belt system that solves the peroblem. However, if you want to stay with your 4-rib belt, i found (from the local gates belts dealer over here) the new series of gates MicroV belts called the XFMicroV (XF = extra force) they come from europe. i am not sure if you have them in the US. I am using them now and the difference is amazing: doube life. i am on my first XF belt and have been flooring the crap out of my car for few months now and not even a crack. so far i can say that the XF has a lifetime double than the regular gates. The size in european metric units is 4PK560 (560mm)
The Stillen supercharger doesn't leave any space for stock strut tower bar, so you may want to purchase Stillen strut tower bar, which can be equipped with their supercharger.
