Stainless Steel Hatch Shock Installation

From Nissan 350Z & 370Z Wiki

At 33% stronger, our gas springs will keep the rear hatch wide open even if you have a heavy spoiler. The stronger gas springs will even stand up to the cold weather (known to weaken the OEM ones). With OEM fit and finish this is the best solution to the problematic rear lift gate on your 350Z.

The OEM ball ends are impossible to remove from the ball studs. Our gas shocks feature high strength composite end fittings with locking clips providing easy installation and removal.
