Brickyard was featured as a 350Z color only on the 2003 models and was discontinued thereafter. There was low production volume of this color, and many believe it was because of the inaccurate color chip shown on the pre-order forms which looked much like a purple. Brickyard is now a sought after color and is a rare find.
The popularity of Brickyard, may have led to the introduction of a similar color: Interlagos Fire.
