Altered Atmosphere MaxFlow Big Pump

AAM Maxflow Fuel Pump

Keeping with our commitment to provide innovative, reliable, and new products to our customers, we are proud to release our newest upgrade for the serious Z/G enthusiast. After 8 months of research and development, we have designed the necessary solution to safely fuel 500+HP, the AAM MaxFlo Big Pump Upgrade. When used in conjunction with the AAM Fuel Rail Return System (Stage 1 Fuel Rail System), our new fuel solution is a bolt in affair that will complete your high horsepower 350Z or G35. Using professionally proven technology and design we have again raised the bar for the 350Z & G35 – breaking new ground so you can break records!

This kit includes:

  1. Bosch Race Fuel Pump
  2. Aluminum Surge Tank
  3. Billet Aluminum Bolt-in Chassis Brackets
  4. Pre-assembled Braided Stainless Steel Fuel Lines with Anodized Fittings
  5. Aerospace noise & vibration dampening
  6. OEM Quality Electrical Components

The AAM MaxFlo Big Pump Upgrade has been proven past 800hp in drag racing applications. This kit also excelles in 500hp+ road racing applications where dual pump setups create fuel starvation in the factory 350Z and G35 fuel tank assembly. Another reason why we do not offer a dual fuel pump setup for the 350Z and G35 is because of their inherent relaiblity flaw. With a dual fuel pump setup, when one pump goes bad there is still sufficient fuel pressure to start the car and run moderate boost -- so you are not aware there is a problem until the car is at WOT (wide open throttle) where an engine damaging lean condition will result.

Note: To be used in conjunction with the AAM Fuel Rail Return System (Stage 1 Fuel Rail System)

The Bosch name is synonymous with quality, performance, and reliability. They are also the fathers of modern fuel injection so it’s only fitting that they produce an EFI fuel pump that performs so well in all categories. This pump is 60mm in diameter and less then 196mm in length. Even with this diminutive size this pump will support 600 to 800 RWHP. The pump uses a threaded M18 x 1.5 inlet port and a threaded M12 x 1.5 hole on the Pressure side. This pump flows 325 LHP @ 50 PSI or 85 GPH @ 50 PSI. Please see the graph and note the awesome flow this pump maintains at very high pressures. Most pumps fall flat on their face as pressure increases, thus forcing you to open your injectors longer to get the proper amount of flow, not so with this pump. If injectors are left open for to long then they can become static, causing uncontrollable AFR’s and damaged injectors. Along with these features this pump can also be used with a smaller size of injector at a higher base pressure to support more horsepower without having to deal with all the downsides of the larger injector on your G/Z.
