Welcome, but this topic has been discussed many times. Due to the electronic engineering in your Z33, the best and cheapest option is to put another VQ35DE into your '04. The swap to a HR means you'll need almost the entire front clip of the car, as parts are so different. But that swap will never be accomplished with CELs appearing on the dash, due to differences in the electronic systems of the two cars. You'll never pass an emissions test with such a swap.
Affordable is an subjective term. Swapping out engines is never really that affordable. Is your VQ so far gone that it cannot be rebuilt?
What ever happened to dat duck? Did he get skewered?
