Fuel gauge not correctly indicating fuel level

2006 Enthusiast Roadster, owned about 4 months. Issue began last week when gauge read close to empty. Stopped to fill up and only held about 12 gallon, after fill up gauge read just above 3/4 tank. Next fill up at close to empty on gauge, only took a little over 8 gallon to fill and gauge read 1/2 tank after fill up.

Have read on forums that tank has two sensors and some have corrected issue by removing sensors and cleaning with q-tips/alcohol. For those of you that have repaired in this manner, does the repair last? Am aware that no repair lasts forever, however if this repair only last a few weeks or months, would choose to replace.

I have the same problem. One of your floaters in your gas tank has gone bad. I also read that you can clean them out and possibly that will work. However I haven't even bothered to fix mine because it's not even worth it lol

Very easy to do on this car. Didn't cost me a dime.
