New here. First question.

Recently just got me my first 350z and i'm in love. I have one question so far. Does these vehicles have dry sumps for oil. The previous owner told me he has the oil changed every 3,000 miles but after checking the dip stick the was hardly any oil on it after a test drive.

2006 350z
67,xxx miles

First answer: if your '06 Z is a manual, the VQ35DE is likely a rev-up variant. The rev-up engine produced a bit more power at the expense of higher oil consumption. None of the Z33s have dry sump lubrication, but you need to check your oil level first in the morning (before startup) to get an accurate read on that twisting dipstick.

You also need to add a quart of oil or more before you drive your car again.

Not everyone who lost his life in Vietnam died there. Not everyone who came home from Vietnam ever left there.
