Transmission noise?

Wats up guys im curious whats up with the transmission noise on my 04 350z with 126xxx miles. Is this normal? How to fix if its not normal? Give me the deitz aha

It could not be the transmission but i know its coming from under the car and if it makes a difference i feel heat coming from under too if its running and i put my hand under my skirts

Transmission noise (six speed or auto) is not normal on any Z. Have you jacked up the car and (after supporting it with jackstands) inspected the tranny mounts and driveline hardware? If possible, check the level of tranny fluid if it's a manual. Those are just the easy things to start with...

I've owned 3 Zed's so far and all their transmissions and drivetrains are pretty agricultural. Tough as nails and almost unbreakable but noisy and a bit clunky. Thus I'm not surprised but I'd check out all your fluid levels as suggested above and get some professional advice.

Redline Lightweight Shockproof is a really good transmission oil that I have used in the past that reduces noise and makes shifting a bit easier - that might be worth a shot too.
