OE Nissan is really high on both rotors and pads.

Centric makes a decent OE replacement and are much more affordable. They are the same owners as Stoptech.

Whatever the price is, you know its way too much. That will be the same anywhere in the world.

Since people in Hong Kong pay well over the odds for a car compared to the west, the dealers also know they can gouge you way more since you're in a class of people that can afford to buy and run a car in HK.

Order new parts from overseas, and have an independent mechanic do it. It's not particularly complex (you could do it in your carpark space if the spots next to you are free, and you have hand tools) so they shouldn't charge that much. I am seeing the irony of importing parts from the US into Hong Kong though.

As an example, I've always had good experiences with Performance Nissan Parts:

MyNismo.com - NISSAN OEM Front Brake Pads

Add 3 bottles of OEM brake fluid:

MyNismo.com - NISSAN OEM Brake Fluid

USD$65.24 + 3x$USD4.99 + shipping (which, conservatively, is USD$50 for items that heavy).

There's no way labour in Hong Kong is going to run you to USD$350 for an hour's work.

FYI if you do need to replace your rotors, then going OEM Nissan will blow out your budget...but I'm guessing the price quoted doesn't include brake discs.

To be honest, your price is about the same as down here in Australia. Actually, in some instances the dealership has been even dodgier:

Man...you need to the break job yourself!!! You could purchase some great pads and rotors for that price.. You should shop online and purchase Hawks,EBC,StopTech...for that price man... its not worth going with OEM... Look up how to change 350Z pads and rotors on youtube...you'll laugh...how easy it is!!!

There's zero space in Hong Kong. While you don't need that much space over and above your parking spot to do the brake job, storing all the tools you need is a pain in the backside.
